2019 BMBA Baseball Clinic

Details for the 2019 BMBA Baseball Skills Clinic have been finalized. The clinic will be divided into two sessions occurring on April 27th & 28th, 2019 at the Agrena in Barrhead. Rookie and 11U Mosquito players will attend on the 27th, while 13U Pee Wee and higher (up to 18U Midget) players will attend on the 28th. Players will only attend one day based on their age level. Sessions will run from 9:15AM to 2PM on both days, with a short break from 11:40AM-12:00PM for snacks or a small lunch that players shall bring with them. Check-in will begin at 8:50AM each day, and all attendees should register online prior to April 24th, 2019 to secure a spot in the clinic.

Registration can be completed online via RAMP using the “Register – Baseball & Clinics” button on the BMBA website. Once you have signed in to RAMP, select “Participant Registration”, choose the “2019 Camps and Clinics” season, select the player who will be attending, and finally select the “Clinics” division. Four different registration packages will be displayed:

  • April 27th – Rookie/Mosquito – Registered BMBA – $20
  • April 27th – Rookie/Mosquito – Non-BMBA – $40
  • April 28th – 13U to 18U – Registered BMBA – $20
  • April 28th – 13U to 18U – Non-BMBA – $40

Please select the package appropriate to your player’s level and status and proceed with registration and payment online. Note: Players who show up on the day of the clinic without first having registered online prior to the April 24th deadline may be denied entry to the clinic as the number of coaches and volunteers required to safely run each day of the clinic will be determined based on the online registration numbers.

2019 Annual General Meeting

The BMBA 2019 Annual General Meeting is currently scheduled for Tuesday, April 9th, 2019 at 7:00PM.  It will be held in the staff room at the Barrhead Composite High School.  The AGM is open to the public and anyone who is interested in volunteering with Barrhead Minor Ball is encouraged to attend.

A brief “Coaches Meeting” will occur immediately following the AGM, and will deal specifically with items of interest to the Coaches and issuance of equipment for the upcoming season.

NUCP Level 1 Umpire Clinic

Barrhead Minor Ball will be hosting a Level 1 NUCP Umpire clinic on Saturday, May 4th, 2019 from 8:30AM-4:30PM at the Barrhead Composite High School. The cost of registration for this clinic will be $60 CAD, payable by credit card.

The clinic will be split approximately 50/50 between classroom time and gym time. BMBA will provide an assortment of equipment for use during the clinic, however if you have your own ball glove feel free to bring it with you to the clinic. Instructors will provide further details to registrants prior to the clinic date.
