2021 Return to Play

With the announcement of the staged reopening plan by the Government of Alberta last week, practices for all BMBA teams will resume June 1st, 2021. Presently it is hoped that games will begin in Stage 2 of the plan starting June 10th, 2021.

Registration fees for all levels of baseball, softball and T-ball are currently scheduled to be processed on June 21st, 2021, with a refund deadline of June 28th, 2021. If the credit card you originally used during registration has expired or the info has changed, please update the Pending Payments Credit Card info within the Transactions area of your RAMP account prior to June 21st.

League schedules and other relevant information will be forwarded to the Coaches and Off-Field Managers of each team as it becomes available. Tentative season dates we have so far include:

  • Baseball Alberta “AA” – June 12 – August 29
  • GEMSA (U12, U14 & U16 softball) – June 14 – July 25
  • Pembina House (all “A” baseball teams) – Not Available
  • LSAC (U10 softball) – Not Available

2021 Registration Now Closed!

Registration for the 2021 season will be open from March 1 – April 1, 2021!

* COVID Changes: Due to the unpredictable nature of the COVID pandemic and associated public health restrictions, all 2021 registrations will be collected using a split payment procedure. A $5 non-refundable initial payment will be collected at the time of registration and subtracted from the total fee payable. The remainder of the registration fee will be deferred to May 10th, 2021, which is one week after our traditional season start date. If public health restrictions dictate that we delay, modify or suspend our 2021 activities, then all registered members will be updated accordingly and the necessary adjustment or cancellation of the pending fees will be made. This procedure should allow us to avoid the extra payment processing fees we incurred last year with the mass refunds.

A Registration Matrix has been provided below to help you determine which division you should register in, and which RAMP system to use. All BMBA registrations, fees and deposits will continue to be collected online using the RAMP system.  Please refer to our FAQ, or the Baseball Alberta or Softball Alberta websites, if you require more information about the various leagues and divisions available.

If you don’t already have a RAMP user account, you will be asked to create one first, after which you can then login and register your players in either system.  The Baseball and Softball/T-Ball systems are separate due to the separate integrations with the Baseball Alberta and Softball Alberta governing bodies, so if you have players to register in both systems please ensure you are logged into the correct one for each or you will not see the appropriate package options.  If you have any questions or difficulty registering please email us for assistance.

All players, parents, coaches and other participants in BMBA sponsored events are required to read and agree to our Code of Conduct and Discipline & Complaints policies.
